Professional activity is of immense importance in our society. It forms the foundation of autonomous economic activity. The demands on young people in the transition from school to the world of work are constantly increasing. The burden on young people to cope with this successfully increases continuously. This process is to be supported by vocational orientation measures at school.
This master's thesis deals with the topic of career orientation as a task for vocational schoolteachers and investigates the question of which requirements are placed on successful career orientation from the point of view of vocational pedagogy and how these can be implemented in a practical manner. The aim of this work is to design a job-typical learning task in the professional field of nutrition and household sciences. The basis for this is the social- cognitive career theory of Lent et al. The form of action-oriented teaching has been chosen for the practical implementation of this learning task.
Measures are then derived from the results of this work that contribute to a successful process of career orientation.

Erforderlich sind u.a.
