This thesis investigates the root causes of the persistent gender inequality saga, arguing that conventional approaches are insufficient because they fail to address foundational spiritual and identity-based disparities. The research aims to move beyond superficial social interventions by proposing an alternative empowerment strategy centered on reclaiming a true sense of identity and purpose derived from a specific foundational template.
The True Damage – Root cause of Gender Inequality and Misogyny
The true perversion and damage began in Genesis chapter 3 when the devil deceived the first woman to disobey the precepts of God and who later convinced man to do same. They fell from the authority given to them to rule and have dominion over all creation and handed it over to Satan. After this, they were no more fit to remain in the presence of the True Holy God, the Creator of all things.
The pronouncement made by God upon their lives has lived with humanity until this day and which is the root cause of what we see today as gender inequality, the woes of the woman and degradation of the beautiful world created by God.
CHAPTER 1: GENERAL INTRODUCTION: This chapter contextualizes the global issue of gender inequality, establishing that while historical progress has been made through feminist movements and UN goals, systemic issues persist, particularly in Ghana. The author introduces the necessity of a sustainable solution that probes deeper than current socio-political frameworks.
CHAPTER 2: THE RESEARCH FOCUS: This segment defines the specific problem areas, highlighting that current efforts often treat symptoms rather than the root cause of gender imbalance. It establishes the research aim to identify the genesis of gender inequality through a lens of purpose and identity.
CHAPTER 3: REVIEW OF OTHER WORK DONE: This chapter analyzes existing literature on gender mainstreaming, acknowledging both its global acceptance and its inability to fully achieve parity. It reviews findings from international organizations while identifying gaps where identity and purpose are absent in standard empowerment discourse.
CHAPTER 4: RESEARCH METHODS: The author details a mixed-methods research strategy, using both qualitative interviews and quantitative questionnaires among Ghanaian women. Emphasis is placed on exploring participants' understanding of "identity" and "calling" as potential conduits for empowerment.
CHAPTER 5: RESULTS OF RESEARCH ANALYSIS: This chapter presents and interprets the data collected, noting a correlation between the lack of identity awareness and the perpetuation of gender-based complexes. The findings suggest that participants view sociocultural underpinnings as the primary drivers of inequality.
CHAPTER 6: CONCLUSION: The author concludes that standard education and policy interventions remain incomplete without a foundational shift in how men and women perceive their origins and purposes. It posits that restoring the intended harmony between genders requires returning to a "Creator-centered" blueprint.
CHAPTER 7: RECOMMENDATIONS: This final section provides actionable recommendations for society, governance, and the family unit. It advocates for the adoption of the "Alternative Women Empowerment Strategy," which calls for deep alignment with transcendent spiritual principles to resolve the gender saga.

The thesis focuses on uncovering the foundational root causes of gender inequality, arguing that current global strategies have failed to provide a permanent solution because they neglect the spiritual and identity-based aspects of human existence.
Central themes include the distinction between career and calling, the concept of a "True North" or spiritual compass for leadership, an analysis of the patriarchal system in Ghana, and the necessity of re-aligning societal roles with an original divine blueprint.
The primary objective is to evaluate how discovering one’s true identity and purpose leads to holistic empowerment and fulfillment, thereby providing a more effective strategy for resolving the gender inequality saga.
The author employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative thematic analysis of interview responses with quantitative data collected via questionnaires to measure participants' self-perception and fulfillment levels.
The main sections critique current gender mainstreaming strategies, present original research data from Ghanaian participants, and offer a re-interpretation of historical and biblical narratives to propose an alternative model for gender relations.
The work is characterized by terms such as Gender Inequality, Women Empowerment, Identity, Purpose, Patriarchal System, and Social Transformation.
It is defined as a departure from status-quo social norms, shifting the empowerment focus from solely economic or political rights toward discovering an individual's inherent identity and divine purpose.
The author contends that because most legal policies are designed to fix "branches" or "leaves" (symptoms) of social inequality rather than the "root" (the mindset and foundational understanding of being), they fail to create a permanent, transformative change.
