The results reveal that a majority of the participants demonstrated positive attitudes toward nosocomial infection control but that a significant proportion, approximately 20.8% of healthcare workers, exhibited insufficient knowledge and 11.5% inadequate practices. This highlights the need for improved training, monitoring, supervision, and accessibility to infection prevention guidelines and protocols for healthcare workers.
