In dieser Bachelorarbeit werden die Wassernetzwerke mithilfe von Algebro-Differentialgleichungen (DAE) modelliert und die Lösung anhand eines selbstgewählten Beispiel veranschaulicht.
Heutzutage ist das Leben in modernen Industriestaaten ohne stabile Wasser-, Strom- und Gasversorgung kaum denkbar. Diese zivilisatorische Leistung wird permanent durch die zahlreiche funktionierenden Netzwerke wie Wassernetzwerke, Stromnetze, Gasnetze und elektronische Schaltungen vollbracht. Einerseits fordern wir die Zuverlässigkeit der Systeme, aber andererseits wollen wir im Zuge der nachhaltigen Entwicklung stärker auf den effizienten Umgang mit Ressourcen setzen. Insbesondere ist diese Herausforderung bei Wassernetzwerken gewaltig, da Wasser für unsere Existenz unverzichtbar ist. Eine gute mathematische Modellierung soll beim Lösen dieses Problems helfen. Somit betrachten wir in dieser Arbeit nur die Wassernetzwerke, obwohl einige Konzepte auch auf die anderen Netzwerktypen anwendbar sind.
