The primary objective of this dissertation is to explore the impact of the MATATAG Agenda on the organizational culture and the integration of Gender and Development (GAD) within public schools in Manila. The research aims to identify challenges, strategies, and perceptions of stakeholders to develop a framework for more intensified and effective implementation in the educational sector.
Organizational Culture
An organization's overall success and durability are greatly influenced by its organizational culture. Higher levels of employee engagement and retention are regularly fostered by a productive company culture, according to research. Job satisfaction and rates of resignation are raised by a positive workplace culture that acknowledges workers' contributions, offers chances for advancement, and encourages work-life balance (Gibson & Billingsley, 2019). Organizational performance and productivity are directly impacted by a supportive culture that fosters creativity, teamwork, and ongoing learning. According to research, organizations with strong cultures perform better than their rivals because their staff members are more driven to succeed and support the organization's objectives (Schein, 2019). Studies on organizational culture have increased significantly since the 1970s. Despite all this curiosity, leaders in organizations were not very knowledgeable about the cultural kinds seen in educational organizations. Promoting a learning society was necessary to keep up with today's rapid changes. Given the significant influence that teachers had on students' learning, research into the effects of organizational culture on teacher learning in schools was necessary. The organizational culture of a school established a sense of self, encouraged success driven, shaped norms and behavioral patterns, produced unique methods of operation, and chose a path for future development. School or organizational culture served positive as well as negative purposes. Resilience is essential for success in the quickly changing corporate world of today. Organizations possessing adaptable and flexible cultures are better able to react to changes in competition, improvements in technology, and evolving consumer preferences. Personnel are empowered by these cultures to welcome change instead of fighting it and to adopt a growth attitude (Cameron & Green, 2020).
