The primary objective of this work is to address the deficits in existing intercultural theory and practice by establishing a more comprehensive, transcultural foundation. The research explores how consciousness, transcending mere cultural conditioning, can be integrated into management to foster sustainable, conflict-free global cooperation.
The State of the Intercultural Art and Science
NATO has contributed its share to the liberation of Libya. It is not yet sure, whether, from the western standpoint, that is liberation into the past or into the future, as the introduction of a form of Islamic law has also been announced. Culture and religion are important components of culture indeed and seem to be stronger than presumed attractiveness of western ideology. Exactly a fortnight ago media have been reporting about an escalating demonstration by Coptic Christians in Cairo which has caused a considerable number of victims, which has, however, been trivialized by some media by presenting it as business as usual in this part of the world. And as if I was not enough, the seismic changes of the Arab spring, which also involves Syria and other nations of the Maghreb and the Mashreg, culminates so far in a strong physical earthquake today in Turkey. The Euro crisis and the sword of Damocles of a global financial crisis are again threatening to strike and “Boycott Wall Street” movements in culturally diverse forms question the legitimacy of the global financial system. The gaps between the haves and the have-nots as well as the cultural gaps between players are seemingly widening to such an extent that the geological earth drifts apart as much as the social world.
1. English Edition: Provides an introduction to the limitations of current intercultural research and proposes a transcultural approach to bridge the divide in human understanding.
2. Version Française: Discusses the same core themes and models within a French context, emphasizing the cultural and philosophical roots of the discussed concepts.
3. Deutsche Fassung: Explores the transcultural framework through a German-language lens, applying the research to relevant management paradigms and cultural conditioning.
4. Versión Española: Translates and adapts the core thesis for Spanish-speaking contexts, focusing on the re-conceptualization of management in an era of global diversity.
5. Synopsis of Inter-/Transcultural Management Instruments: Offers practical models, such as the ORJI cycle and PIE metaphor, for managing complex intrapsychic processes in intercultural settings.
6. Inter-/Transcultural Reference Terminology: Serves as a bilingual dictionary defining key terms and concepts that characterize the intersection of cultural and transcultural management.

The work aims to transition from traditional intercultural management toward a transcultural approach that integrates consciousness and biological principles to resolve cultural conflicts.
The central themes include the integration of human consciousness, the limitations of western rationalism, the application of physics metaphors (e.g., wave-particle duality) to culture, and the development of comprehensive management instruments.
The research asks how the lopsided prioritization of divisive human anthropological reality can be rebalanced through a holistic and integrative transcultural approach that promotes global solidary unity.
The research uses a transdisciplinary approach, blending insights from social sciences, neurophysiology, and quantum physics analogies to create a metaphorical and practical framework for organizational and cultural management.
The main body focuses on establishing an epistemological foundation for transcultural consciousness and presenting the "Transcultural Profiler," a 12-octave architectural model for diagnosing and integrating diverse management realities.
The keywords define a shift from mechanistic, surface-level intercultural observation to a deeper, consciousness-driven "holistic interculturalism" that leverages ethics and synergy.
The Transcultural Profiler acts as an diagnostic architectural metaphor that maps a manager's psychological infrastructure, allowing for the integration of subordinate intercultural elements into a superordinate transcultural whole.
These metaphors are used to visualize complex, abstract concepts of psychological and organizational integration in a way that provides practical sense and guidance for global managers.
The "missing link" refers to the necessary transcultural dimension of consciousness that, when accessed, allows for the sustainable recontextualization and effective management of human cultural diversity.
