Diese Arbeit untersucht die Vorstellungen von Grundschüler:innen der dritten und vierten Jahrgangsstufe zur Partizipation in der Schule. Ziel ist es, die Meinungen dieser Schüler:innen zu erfassen und mit dem fachwissenschaftlichen Diskurs über Partizipation zu vergleichen. Die Untersuchung folgt dem Modell der Didaktischen Rekonstruktion und nutzt leitfadenorientierte Kleingruppeninterviews als qualitative Forschungsmethode. Im zweiten Kapitel wird das Modell der Didaktischen Rekonstruktion eingeordnet. Das dritte Kapitel bietet eine ausführliche Darstellung der fachlichen Perspektive, einschließlich diverser Begriffsdefinitionen und Modelle zur Partizipation sowie spezifischer Überlegungen zur schulischen Partizipation.
Das vierte Kapitel beschreibt den Forschungsprozess und begründet die Wahl der qualitativen Forschungsmethoden und der Stichprobe. Die zentralen Ergebnisse der Interviews werden im fünften Kapitel präsentiert. Im sechsten Kapitel erfolgt ein wechselseitiger Vergleich zwischen den Schüler:innen und der fachlichen Perspektive. Im siebten Kapitel werden gemäß dem Modell der Didaktischen Rekonstruktion didaktische Strukturierungen vorgenommen und Handlungsempfehlungen für die Partizipationsforschung in der Grundschule aufgezeigt. Abschließend werden die zentralen Elemente der Arbeit in den Schlussbetrachtungen resümiert.
